Akenaton Isis DHybrid Concept

I present you another hybrid on VW basis, but this time with a diesel engine!!!!

The engine is an all new 1.2 TDI 3 cylindres comming end 2009 in the new Polo!
It us Common Rail diesel injection system to be very clean and silent!!
the power is 75ch!!

Here in this concept it will be combinated with an 27ch electric engine (140Nm!!)!!

So this is the first Hybrid diesel, and it really works!!

The concept was showed on an Golf 5!! but I prefer to show it on the Isis!!

Finally the total power is 102ch!!! but hybrid power!!!
The car can drive with only electric under 50km/h (during 1hour!!!)
More than that it is combinated to a 7 gear DSG box and a start-and-stop system!
The consommations is estimated by 3.4l diesel /100km/h!!!
And the car have a plug in system!! you can recharge the electric batterie at home!!! so next day, if you live in the city you can drive only electric!!

The diesel engine is on over 50km/h but even recharge the batterie!

I think is ne of the best combination.. diesel engine and electric motor both for consumtion and realiability

Jeremy.. have you ever think about a natural gas engine?.. in this case the battery can be recharged at home and even the natural gas tank can be refilled at home
Of course to refill a tank at home is an old idea but I think it's not possible currently I think because the pressure of the gas is not the right one... but could be a possibility in the future .. you can do everything by yourself at home

et une autre chose: qu'estque t'en pense du bloc hybride diesel/electrique de PSA? (oui, je sais que tu est un fan de VW , mais bon...)

Non ce bloc hybrid est d'abord destiné à la future Bast 4Pl, mais plus tard aussi à l'Isis 4PL!

Le bloc HDi Hybrid dest bien aussi, je l'aurais bien présenté, mais encore une fois Peugeot ne cesse de repouser sa commercialisation, d'abord fin 2009, puis debut 2010 et maintenant pas avant 2011 (sur la prochaine 408! ), alors que tout est pret!!
Le bloc VW, c'est sure sortira sur la Golf début 2010! de plus il est un peu plus interessant car il est couplé avec un plus petit moteur, qui consomme moins!
