First diesel for the Isis

My first idea was to wait on the all new 1.6 TDI engine in 90 and 105hp version from VW/Audi group.
This all new Common Rail dieselinjection engine will be showed first time in Genova 2009!
But this motor would be available only in april, may for a VW Golf or Audi A3!
So we have ton wait a little time to have this new engine!

But a city car without diesel motorisation cannot be!
So here the first diesel! I hope everyone agree!

2.0 TDI Common Rail 120cv (88kw)
280Nm di coppia a 1750giri/min
0 - 100km/h in 9.5s
V max: 205km/h
Consumi: 6.1l (urbano) 4l (extraurbano) 4.8l (misto)

This is maybe, for the moment the most powerful diesel engine for the Isis!
A good concurent for the Alfa Mito 1.6 JTD 120cv
an Mini Cooper D 1.6 HDI 110cv

Seba, Hp, j'espère votre accord pour cette motorisation!

So this is the new diesel engine!
It can be also a foto of the motor of the Isis diesel!

Here the 4WD transmission for the new VW Golf.
It could be also available for the Isis TDI!
Did you agree with a all wheel transmission for the Isis?

The idea of a diesel dfor the Isis is actually the right choice
With that new engine the Isis will be more performant than its competitors so I think we can have this motorization on the Isis and the 4WD transmission is really cool
But if we would like the 4WD we (well SEBA ) should redesign the Isis to make it more offroad style

A relooking is not an obligation!
You see on the picture, the Golf use this 4WD transmission without exterior modification!
It's simply a 4wd transmission who make the car more security and also more performant!
The hybrid system in developpement for the Isis have to be automaticaly combinated with this transmission, so...

You are right jeremy about the re-looking but I just like to know the Isis will have a new re-design to be a little bit more off-road style

But would we not use a more offroad design for the futur mini van-SUV on Isis basis!

Maybe you suggestion is like the Audi Allroad, a little bit offroad but not really! you see?

Oui, il y aura deja le petit 4x4 sur base Isis, donc c¿est pas necessaire une modification esthetique sur la Isis
(siccome ci sarà già il mini 4x4 su base Isis, non è necessario prevedere una modifica estetica sulla Isis)
